Recruit at UCF
We encourage organizations to take a multi-tiered approach to recruiting, as businesses that engage in a variety of activities tend to attract a larger candidate pool and achieve greater success. We offer numerous opportunities to build your brand and establish a lasting presence on campus, including major events like the Internship & Career EXPO and ProConnect, Knight Shadow Program, Employer Sponsorship Program, Workshops, Presentations, Information Sessions, Lunch & Learns, Résumé Critiques, and more. As a centralized career center, we offer direct connections to students across all majors, simplifying the recruiting process and helping you reach your hiring goals effectively. For more information, contact csrecruit@ucf.edu.
The Dixon Career Development Center hosts UCF’s largest and most impactful recruiting event—the Internship & Career EXPO—each fall and spring semester. With 250+ organizations in attendance, EXPO provides employers with direct access to a diverse, high-quality talent pool across industries including technology, finance, healthcare, and more.
In addition, our annual ProConnect Networking Reception each fall offers a more personalized engagement opportunity, connecting employers with students and alumni from a wide range of backgrounds—including first-generation college students—in a relationship-focused setting.
We invite you to explore our full calendar of signature events, including registration details and participation opportunities, by visiting our comprehensive events listing.
The Knight Shadow Program offers employers a meaningful opportunity to connect with students through short-term job shadowing experiences hosted during academic breaks in December, March, and August. Through both in-person and virtual formats, organizations can provide students with firsthand exposure to their industry, workplace culture, and career pathways through office tours, employee panels, job observation, workshops, and more. While these experiences are unpaid and not for academic credit, they serve as a high-impact, no-cost way for employers to build brand visibility, engage early talent, and contribute to student career exploration.

Employers may host up to two complimentary, on-campus recruiting activities per semester. Host an Information Session to highlight open roles, share insights on your company culture, and speak to industry trends, or elevate your engagement by offering a Lunch & Learn—an informal, high-impact format that encourages attendance and interaction. Employers can also take advantage of Tabling in high-traffic campus locations to increase visibility, spark conversations, and generate interest among targeted student populations. Employers may host unlimited virtual events through Handshake to further expand their reach. For organizations interested in increasing their on-campus presence, the Employer Sponsorship Program offers expanded access, including unlimited on-campus engagement opportunities.
