The UCF College of Medicine Medical Mentorship & Shadowing Program (MMSP) is excited to announce that applications for the 2026 cohort are now open!
MMSP is a longitudinal professional development program designed to support undergraduate students interested in pursuing careers in medicine. Through physician mentorship, shadowing experiences, professional development workshops, networking opportunities, MCAT prep support, and exposure to clinical medicine, students gain valuable insight into the profession while building a strong foundation for future success. Students who successfully complete all program requirements and meet UCF College of Medicine admissions standards receive a guaranteed interview with UCF COM.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Full-time enrollment at UCF (incoming seniors are eligible if they have attended at least 85% of previous MMSP webinars).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Self-identification as one of the following:
- First-generation college student
- Economically or educationally disadvantaged
- Committed to providing the highest quality of care to all patients
Please note: Due to limited capacity, acceptance into the program is competitive. Selected applicants will join the existing 2023, 2024, & 2025 cohorts.
