The Medi-Futures Virtual Shadowing Program is a free program, run through the UF College of Medicine, that is now offered to all UCF students interested in a career in healthcare. This Summer, the program runs from July 13th – 31st. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from 18 healthcare professionals (doctors, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, dentists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, pharmacists, and more), and students can earn up to 18 virtual shadowing hours and a certificate. Students can participate through scheduled live presentations on Microsoft Teams or view the recordings at a more convenient time. Participating in our program is a great way to gain mentorship, research opportunities, in-person shadowing, and more. We would be delighted to have you join us this semester!
