Description:
You’ll own a real fundraising pipeline for a growing US–Peru nonprofit and report directly to the founder. This is the lead role in our Workforce Accelerator: the funds you raise pay for the hosting, tools, and support our Peru AI Hackathon winners need to turn their projects into real ventures. In 12 weeks you’ll have submitted grant proposals, run a giving campaign, and have a dollar figure on your resume.
How to apply: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. To schedule an interview, complete this form: https://forms.gle/obvTJYSvXakE9MQS7
What you’ll own
- Research and draft 3+ foundation or corporate grant applications (we submit them together)
- Compete in our Grant Writing Challenge: a cohort sprint where the strongest submitted proposal earns recognition and a featured spot on our site
- Build and manage our donor and sponsor prospect list in our CRM
- Plan and run our year-end giving campaign
- Write donor updates and impact stories featuring our hackathon winners
Skills we’re looking for
- Persuasive, clear writing and strong research habits
- Comfort with Google Workspace and meeting deadlines
- Nice to have: Spanish, Canva, prior fundraising, or campus club treasurer/fundraising chair experience
Who thrives here: strong writers who want autonomy, bring their own ideas, and don’t wait to be told what to do. No fundraising experience required.
What you get: weekly 1:1s with the founder, a portfolio of submitted proposals, a “revenue generated” metric, and a reference that means something. Remote, ~20 hrs/week, flexible schedule. Unpaid; academic credit supported.
