What is Focus 2 Career?

FOCUS 2 guides users through a reliable, intuitive career and education decision making model to help them choose a college, select a major, explore occupations, make informed career decisions and take action in their career development.

It provides valid and reliable assessments including Work Interests-Holland Code, Personality, Values, Skills, Leisure Interests and Career Planning Readiness. Assessment results are matched to supporting majors and career options with over 1000 occupations and up-to-date career information.

Simply visit https://bit.ly/UCFFocus2 and log in with your NID and NID Password. Once logged in you can access self-assessments and career readiness modules from the home page.

The five assessments available will provide an overview of your strengths, interests, skills, values, and personality type, and will reveal to you careers and majors at UCF that may be a good fit for you based on those results.

Yes, FOCUS 2 CAREER is matched to UCF majors and provides related occupations for each major. Once logged in, find the “What can I do with a major in… Offered at University of Central Florida” tool under the “Explore the Possibilities” section. Then find and click on your major to view possible career pathways.

You can begin with looking at occupation or major results that match your interest and personality type. We strongly encourage you to schedule a Career Assessment & Exploration appointment with a Career Counselor to interpret your results with you. You can request an appointment with https://ucf.joinhandshake.com/appointments.
