Knights Career Navigator is a webcourse that contains several career prep modules you will be required to complete before the end of your first Spring semester here at UCF. It is the career readiness module required by the State of Florida.
Don’t worry, you have been automatically enrolled in the webcourse found in your UCF Portal and it shouldn’t take more than 45 minutes to complete.

Students are automatically enrolled in the Knights Navigator, Career Readiness Webcourse. It can be viewed on Webcourses after Fall course registration.
The career center is accessible through Handshake. Each student has a Handshake account, which can be accessed with their MyUCF login credentials, additional registration is not required.
Great question! You are taking this course since you are a first-time student here at UCF. This course allows you to learn about all the amazing resources that UCF offers to help you be career ready.
Please designate around 45 minutes to complete the course. There is supplemental information and resources that are included, but those components are optional to complete.
The Career Readiness Course will be listed as a To-Do for the semester of enrollment. Each freshman and first time transfer student has until March 1 to complete the Webcourse. A hold will be placed on the account if the Webcourse has not been completed by the deadline.
It is mandatory to complete this course by your first Spring semester of your first year. If this course is not completed by March 1st then you will have a hold on your account and unable to register for classes.
Through this course you will learn of various tools and resources such as Focus 2 career assessments and Handshake which will help guide you in making decisions about your major and preparing for your chosen career path. You will learn how to utilize these resources to develop real world skills and professional documents such as a resume through the guidance of Career Services and Experiential Learning.
