Provides students wanting to study beyond their bachelor’s degree the opportunity to meet with representatives of graduate, law and professional schools nationally and abroad.

2020 Graduate and Professional Schools Virtual Fair

The University of Central Florida (UCF) Career Services is pleased to invite you to recruit at our 2020 Graduate and Professional Schools Virtual Fair. The Graduate and Professional Schools Virtual Fair provides you with an opportunity to meet with hundreds of UCF students and alumni who are interested in continuing their education.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

To register for any fair hosted by UCF Career Services, you must have an ACTIVE Handshake account and be connected with “University of Central Florida.” Note that spaces are limited and available first-come, first-served. Fees must be paid in full prior to the date of the fair.

This Online Event Registration Guide will walk you through how to register for a fair on Handshake. If you don't already have an employer account, you'll need to first sign up for Handshake. Use this resource to sign up for a new account: Create an Employer User Account, Join a Company, and Connect with Schools.

Standard Registration 

  • Standard registration fee (per day): $225.00
    • Includes up to 15 representatives

*State of FL Consumer Certificate (DR-14) Registration 

  • State of FL Consumer Certificate (DR-14) Registration fee (per day): $175.00
    • Includes up to 15 representatives
    • *State of FL Consumer Certificate (DR-14) Registration Employers must provide a valid Florida Sales Tax Exemption Certificate prior to registering for the 2020 Graduate and Professional Schools Virtual Fair. You may send the certificate (DR-14) via e-mail to (csevents@ucf.edu).
Payments are due at the time your registration is approved/invoiced. Failure to provide payment will cause those with unpaid balances to be cancelled from the event.
To ensure your participation and inclusion in all related publicity, please submit your online registration by the registration deadline. Changes to your registration must be submitted in writing to csevents@ucf.edu no later than October 2, 2020. No changes will be made after this date.
*Registrations canceled at any time are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. Registrations canceled after September 16, 2020 will not be refunded.

 

   VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR DETAILS

UCF is excited to partner with Handshake to host the Fall 2022 Virtual Education Career Fair utilizing their virtual fair features.
Here’s how it works:
Upon registration, our office will review the details you submitted for approval. Before the event, our office will follow up with details about creating a schedule to engage with students in this virtual environment. Registration fee includes options for:
  • Video, audio, and chat communication with students
  • Group meetings of 30 minutes with up to 50 students
  • 10 minute one-on-one student meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session
  • Sharing your values and documentation with students ahead of time
Options to connect with students during the event (must select when creating schedule (s) in Handshake)
  • One-on-one student meetings (only)
  • Group meetings (only)
  • Combined One-on-one student meetings and Group meetings (ex: one-on-one meetings from 10am to 11am and group sessions from 11am to 1pm)

Note: During registration, you will be asked to share the number of representatives who plan to attend the fair—we recommend between 2 to 6 representatives per employer to optimize available schedules for students. Each representative you register will be able to create their own unique schedule to engage with students. To learn more about these features, you can view Handshake’s virtual fair training webinar – details can be found here. If you have not received instructions on how to create your virtual fair schedule by November 1, 2022, please contact csevents@ucf.edu.
